It took researchers and scientists a long and dedicated journey to get to the information that they have now about the active iCool ingredients. Hot flashes are a major problem for women going through menopause and doctors have long sought a solution. One of the earlier solutions to this problem was estrogen therapy which introduced the hormone estrogen into the body to combat menopause symptoms. This treatment was soon discredited, however, as it has serious side effects including an increased risk of breast cancer or stroke. iCool ingredients contain no hormones, artificial or otherwise. The active iCool ingredients are much safer.

When estrogen was discredited as an active ingredient for menopause symptom treatment, scientists began studying soybean isoflavones. These consist of three elements. It is the compound known as genistein that proved to be most effective. iCool ingredients contain a type of genistein that is used to combat the symptoms of menopause. However, iCool ingredients do not contain pure soy genistein. While this compound has been proven to be effective, it is needed in fairly large doses. Soy is also known to cause sensitivities in some people. iCool ingredients include a synthetic form of genistein instead that is effective in much smaller doses.

In one study, pure synthetic genistein showed a 51% reduction in hot flashes among women taking it. In this study, women on the placebo showed only a 27% reduction in hot flashes. This is a significant difference which boded very well for this product. iCool ingredients include synthetic genistein. This is a soy-free and allergen-free alternative to actual soy genistein. iCool ingredients are safe for individuals who have sensitivities to soy although the genistein is structurally identical to the real thing. Though iCool ingredients include several other elements, genistein is the most important element. This is the primary active ingredient in the supplement.

iCool ingredients also include several elements that are not considered to be active. Additional iCool ingredients found on the label for this supplement include.

  • Dicalcium phosphate
  • Magnesium silicate
  • Magnesium stearate
  • Sodium lauryl sulfate

iCool ingredients do not include any types of dyes, preservatives, animal products, sugar, or wheat products. This supplement is designed to be safe for most users. As with all types of supplements, it’s best to consult your doctor before you begin taking it to ensure that it won’t interact with any other medications you may be taking. In general, iCool is safe for most users.
